This is our new flagship at The Edge with our new NPS 4X track. Mountain biking over our rollers and jumps is great, whether you are a novice or a competition expert. The Edge boarder and biker track has it all.

The course has been designed by the NPS 4X event managers and riders and is destined to be a top UK venue for all bikers.

As we are new to this market we are looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks of the track. A lift system will be in operation periodically.

Safety gear is a must for all riders.

Mountainboarding takes many forms.

Nursery slopes provide an ideal area for you to master the basics and once your skills and confidence allow, you can move up to the slopes - carving through the features on the hill - or getting “big air” off our ramps.

Whatever style of riding you fancy, we have the boards and landscape to suit.

The Edge, is a leading UK venue designed by MBS Europe’s own Ajay Watkins with help from Leon Robbins, Tom Kirkman and The Edge’s team rider Mike Payne. The Edge is the Home of round 2, 2006 National series and this year will be hosting the biggest event of the year; the final of the National ATBA series.

We have been working hard designing and test riding the course for this years event. View the pictures to see the fantastic results!

Situated in Shropshire just outside Much Wenlock, The Edge is only minutes away from Shrewsbury, Telford and Bridgnorth. Very easy to find and with plenty of parking it takes the hassle out of the central town attractions.

The site has a large variety of runs from gentle to steep, short to long and will suit any rider of any standard. There is even a slalom run and freestyle jumping area. The centre is open of anyone to enjoy over the age of eight.

Beginners are given qualified instruction on how to ride safely and develop their ability. All safety equipment is provided for every rider. Refreshments are on-sale for riders and spectators in our picnic area.

A great day out for the whole family. Beginners can go from total novice to slalom turns, carving terrain and racing in no time.

Our team building courses are tailored to meet your objectives…. We don’t believe in running activities for the sake of it and will work with you or a third party consultant to ensure your team benefits from the time they spend here at The Edge.

Team building can be simple and fun or complex and testing. With hundreds of small and bigger challenges to choose let us know what you want to achieve and leave it with us.

Archery - Fun for all ages

Archery

Archery is a sport for everyone. It is certainly a test of skill but one that is fun andy suitable for everyone, no matter what your fitness level. So if you think you could line up next to Robin Hood and give him a run for his money try, either as a single group activity or as part of your group package.

Overall, a good event to get your breath back but to also test your nerves…

High Ropes

Ropes

Used as a team training event or just as a fun activity. Challenge yourself and your group to ascend our Jacobs ladder. Working in teams of three you are given some money (monopoly) to spend on equipment of your choice to help you get as high as you can. Whilst collecting more money for each level you reach, will you sacrifice your hard earned cash to help to help you further? This is your dilemma.

Your harness and safety rope will be fitted and monitored by our trained staff whom will watch you every step of the way. They will only help if bribed to do so! You will be the safety net for your own group by watching and belaying their safety line… Good luck.

Why not also test your nerve by throwing yourself off a quarry shelf towards the woodland below?

Remember; once you’ve jumped, theres no going back!

Clay Pigeon

Clay Pigeon Shooting

Clay pigeon Shooting is one of the countries fastest growing activities and for good reason. With stands set up in the open fields or the woodland of our Shropshire countryside this is the challenge of the outdoors.

Requiring skill, patience and accuracy, clay pigeon shooting will test you on a competitive level against your friends.

After some coaching and practice trying your luck at a moving target, you will take part in a scored competition.

If you are concerned about the noise and the recoil of the weapons then let us put you at ease. You will be issued with ear and eye protection whether you are shooting or simply spectating. The shotguns that we use are designed specifically to reduce any shoulder impact that can occur whilst firing a weapon of this nature.

Give it a go; you may just surprise yourself!

Off Road Fun

Off Road Karts

If its speed, adrenalin and excitement that you’re after, then look no further. Our off-road karts will take you across any terrain at speed. You will be deducted time for leaving the circuit, so the skill is in timing your steering with your throttle.

Quad Biking

Quad Biker

Experience the thrill and challenge of handling one of our Yamaha ATV’s across various rough terrain including valleys, woodland and farmland in Shropshire.

You will be greeted by our experienced guides who will supply you with goggles, gloves and a helmet. Disposable water resistant suits are also available at a small charge £1.50 charge. You will have a detailed safety briefing and be introduced to riding a quad. Our guides will test your ability and help you with any concerns, to ensure you’re 100% happy to get out there and enjoy yourself!

The one hour adventure can cover up to 20 miles of the stunning Shropshire Countryside.
